#parismonamour favourite Paris places

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Everything’s really hotting up in the countdown to release of my debut novel Paris Mon Amour on 13 June.  In fact, I’m in Paris now, on a five-day trip combining work and pleasure (hard distinction), seeing old friends and new.

Today (Thursday 21 April) and tomorrow I’ll be tweeting about locations from the novel under the hashtag #parismonamour.   Get into the spirit by sharing your own favourite spot in Paris – tweet me @isabelcostello using the hashtag, or if you’re not on Twitter, by leaving a very brief comment (equivalent of one sentence) below. And if you haven’t been to Paris, no problem. What would you most like to see when you go?

No need be original – you can all put the Eiffel Tower if you like (although it will be more interesting if you don’t).

This is really just a bit of fun so anyone can join in (people from all over are crazy about Paris, after all, and the audiobook will be available worldwide).  One winner picked by random generator tomorrow,  Friday 22 April at 5pm UK (18h in Paris) will receive a pair of tickets to my book launch in London on the evening of Wednesday 15 June and an edible treat of your choice from Paris. If you’re really lucky I will live tweet/message you from the heavenly Bon Marché food hall, which appears in the book.

Allez-y!

This is a view of the Senate building from the Jardin du Luxembourg where my narrator Alexandra goes running every morning.  French food used to be her greatest temptation…

  1. Les Egouts in Paris is way up there for unique feel (and smell) of Parisian Life
